“Frozen Light” St. Joseph Northpier Lighthouse, St. Joseph, Michigan

Approaching Lake effect snow squalls darken the sky at St. Joseph Lighthouse. I had to crawl on my stomach to get around the edge of the inner Light , for a shot the ice encased outer. There was a rope tied to the structure which I tied around my waste, and untied once I reached the other side. It’s about a four foot wide sloped section, 25 feet or so that you have to get across,it is extremely slippery.
